Participation in International Research Initiatives

Thus far, the highest proof of recognition of Lyceum-Northwestern University Research caliber is its having been chosen as the local partner in the international “Sustainable Sanitation in East Asia (SUSEA)” Project.

The project is funded by World Bank and mobilized through an international agency-the Coffey International Development in collaboration with other private and government agencies. The primary objective of the research project is to identify the root cause of poor sanitation. Long term goal is to be able to develop intervention measures both in the form of policies and programs that could be adopted to address the pressing issue of sanitation problem.
On November 21, 2007, LNU-RDMO entered into an agreement with the Coffey International Development and the City Government of Dagupan to start out the said project.
