PHILOSOPHY

           The Francisco Q. Duque Medical Foundation Special Science High School believes in thefollowing  principles:

  1. The youth is the highest potential resource of any nation;
  2. the youth should be provided with a complete science education so that he/she is enabled to enjoy the advantages of scientifically and technologically progressing world;
  3. Science and Technology guided though high ethical standards are the greatest means to attain economic and social advancement and national development;
  4. The Filipino youth while encouraged to proceed to the direction of science and technology should learn in an atmosphere of discipline and values;
  5. Scientific and Technological knowledge should also be balanced by the youth’s immersion to languages, arts and culture.

MISSION

          Guided by the principle: Genius with a heart; intelligence with a conscience, the FQD prepares     students for their respective collegiate courses and nurtures them to be individuals with discipline, futuristic attitude, appreciation of the values of science and technology and respect to their culture.

VISION

          The FQDMFSSHS envisions a duly accredited secondary institutions actively preparing would be collegiate students who are proficient in their academic subjects particularly science, technology and who possess strong sense of values and discipline.

OBJECTIVES

          The FQDMFSSHS endeavors to pursue the following objectives:

  1. To provide the students basic information, education and training on the different aspects of science and technology in relation to their future preparation for college;
  2. To develop the students’ sense of keen observation, analytical and critical thinking and research;
  3. To encourage innovation and creativity;
  4. To instill deep concern for the environment, community and the country;
  5. To provide a balanced atmosphere of arts and culture in the pursuit of technological and scientific learning.
