L-NU: MULTI ACCREDITED AND QUALITY TESTED
The first two quarters of year 2010 has seen the successful renewal of L-NUs multi-tiered accreditations which includes renewal of Deregulated Status, Elevevation to Center of Development for BS, Pharmacy, Accreditations by both PACOCOA and PAASCU, and ISO 9001:2008 certification. In its over 40 years of operation since 1969, this year marks a milestone for having landed the most number a accreditations over a 6-month period.
DISTINCT RENEWAL OF DEREGULATED STATUS
October 27, 2003 was a milestone for the university as it was awarded the distinction of Deregulated Status by the Commission on Higher Education. There have been several other HEIs that likewise were thus elevated, but L-NU stands unique in Region I for being the only HEI that has qualified for renewal.
